An American College of Radiology accredited facility. The Morton A. Kreitchman PET Center and David A. Gardner PET Research Center is one of the nations’s foremost clinical and research PET-CT facilities providing the most advanced PET-CT imaging technology available in a caring and compassionate setting. Using the latest generation technology ensures that our exams are accurate, complete and images are of the highest quality. The Morton A. Kreitchman PET Center and David A. Gardner PET Research Center is setting the standard in clinical and research PET-CT imaging. Since founding the Morton A. Kreitchman PET Center in1993, Director Ronald L. Van Heertum, MD has guided the expansion of its clinical and research activities. In addition to serving patients in the greater New York and surrounding area, PET-CT Center radiologists often help interpret findings and provide training for other physicians. Our university-trained radiologists have subspecialty training and are certified by the American Board of Radiology.  Our facility allows for quality control the production and synthesis of a wide range of innovative PET tracers. Our researchers are also working to develop new isotopes that may expand the diagnostic capabilities of PET-CT.  In 2009,a new state-of-the-art facility opened providing the most advanced PET-CT imaging technology available bridging research and clinical in combination with advanced technology for excellent patient care management.
