Columbia-Presbyterian radiology trainees continue to find excellent jobs in the current job market. Even though all our trainees are employed, we believe that extra efforts can only help sustain this excellent record. Accordingly, the Columbia-Presbyterian Radiology Job Network was established in 1995 to facilitate employment opportunities for our radiology trainees. This network is comprised of an active nationwide alumni group of greater than 500 former Columbia-Presbyterian trainees spread around the country (see map below). Capsule descriptions of current CPMC trainees are distributed to these alumni to introduce candidates who will be entering next year's job market. Requests also are received from the alumni group concerning available job openings for radiologists either in their practice or their locality. This information is then passed along to our senior residents and fellows to facilitate early job placement.
