CLINICAL STAFF AND FELLOWS
At the current time, there are approximately 40 full-time radiology staff members and 10 fellows. These numbers vary slightly from year to year, depending on the staffing needs of the various divisions. Fellowship training is offered in abdominal imaging, neurointerventional radiology, chest radiology, mammography, body MRI, musculoskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, pediatric radiology and angiography/interventional radiology. The latter four programs and the general diagnostic residency are ACGME-approved. The section chiefs are listed below. Virtually all have achieved national recognition as leaders in their respective subspecialties. If you have a special interest and would like to see one of these individuals, we will try to arrange it:
The department also has a full-time staff of clinical physicists, headed by Edward L. Nickoloff, D.Sc. The clinical physics group is responsible for evaluations of equipment, equipment-based research, and teaching of radiological physics to residents.
