CALL SCHEDULE

First Year Residents

Weekdays:

• In-house ER call 5 pm - 9 pm with a senior resident and an attending present the entire shift.

Weekends:

• 7/1-11/31: In-house ER call 9 am - 9 pm with a senior resident and an attending present the entire shift.

• 12/1-6/30: In-house ER call 9 am - 9 pm with an attending present the entire shift.

2nd and 3rd year residents

Weekdays:

• In-house ER call 10 pm - 7:30 am (solo call). The overnight resident is off on the post-call day.

Weekends:

• In-house ER call 9 pm - 9 am (solo call). The overnight resident is off on the post-call day.
  

The resident on the vascular/interventional radiology rotation is excluded from the E.R. call schedule. However, this resident is on beeper call to the vascular/interventional service.
