Recent Developments

New York-Presbyterian Hospital was rated among the country's 20 top hospitals for Respiratory Disorders in the US News & World Report's annual ranking, America's Best Hospitals 2004. It is the only pulmonary program in New York state to appear on the list.

The New York-Presbyterian Hospital as a whole was also ranked at # 9 in the magazine's Honor Roll of best medical centers. In order to appear on the Honor Roll, hospitals had to demonstrate unusual breadth of excellence by ranking highly in at least six of the 17 Best Hospitals specialties.
