We are presently conducting several clinical trials for patients with asthma. These studies include:

1. Study of differences in response to asthma medications among smokers and nonsmokers with asthma.

2. Comparison of different anti-inflammatory medicines for the treatment of asthma.

3. Study of the effect on inhaled steroids in patients with asthma exhibiting differences in response to quick acting bronchodilators.

4. Study of how genetics influence manifestations of asthma.
