Clinical and Research Interests:

Dr. Rothman's work centers on understanding the role cytokines and cytokine signaling plays in both normal lymphocyte development and leukemic transformation. He investigates the role of cytokine signaling ina asthma and allergic immune responses, mechanisms underlying the ability of the v-abl oncogene to transform pre-B cells, how cytokines signal cells to activate transcription, and how the BCL-6 oncoprotein regulates cytokine signal transduction.
