Student Advising
Advisory Deans
Advisory Deans are available to individually discuss with you your plans for and/or concerns about any specialty. They are able to provide information to you regarding all specialties, and they also know whom to refer you to if you desire further specialty advising. Each Advisory Dean is assigned several areas of specialty to oversee in addition to working with their own advisees.
Residency Advisors
Faculty in each specialty volunteer to be residency advisors, meaning they are available to meet with you upon request to discuss residency training and careers in their specialty.
A few in each specialty have volunteered to be confidential advisors, which means that they do not interface with the residency selection committee and what you discuss with them will remain confidential.
