Program Summary -The purpose of the Medical Student Research Award Program is to provide medical students who are potentially interested in a research career with an opportunity to explore a research career that is broadly related to the cardiovascular area or stroke. Students propose a preceptor/project at a non-profit research institution in California, Nevada or Utah for a period of 8, 10 or 12 weeks, receiving a stipend of $480 per week.
