We are committed to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pelvic pain in both male and female patients. Our goal is to maximize function, minimize suffering, and help patients realize their full potential despite their affliction with a difficult, painful, and sometimes disabling disorder.
A detailed history and physical examination provide the most important first steps in diagnosing your pelvic pain problem. These are completed during your first visit. You may require imaging studies, such as CT or MRI, to provide additional, crucial diagnostic information.
We utilize a wide range of treatment modalities that have been rigorously scrutinized and proven effective to help our patients enjoy the best outcomes possible. Non-invasive treatments may include finding the optimal combination of medications, physical therapy, biofeedback, or acupuncture. Invasive treatments may include injections, cystoscopy, minimally-invasive laparascopic surgery, open surgery, or neuromodulation.
