Our program in Pediatric Rheumatology was one of the first programs established in the United States and the first established in the New York City area.
The first textbook in Pediatric Rheumatology was based on patient experiences at our Center written by Dr. Jerry Jacobs.
Over the last five years, the Pediatric Rheumatology Program has increased in size by 500% and now provides care for thousands of children with rheumatic disease.
Rheumatology is an integral diagnostic and consultation service for our inpatient and outpatient services.
