Ways to Give Back

Support for the beginning phase of scientific inquiry is required for young investigators to season their work so they may later apply for National Institutes of Health (NIH) and industry-related grants and contracts. Such focused funding rarely offers the flexibility needed for the kind of innovation and freedom of exploration that is essential to formulate truly groundbreaking research.

We hope that you will continue, or begin, to partner with us and help support our program so that we can continue to embrace Columbia University's motto to "Discover, Educate, Care and Lead."

Sharon E. Oberfield, M.D.

Professor of Pediatrics
Director, Division of Pediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
