The School of Nursing ’s “Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Antimicrobial Resistance” (PI: Dr. Elaine Larson) funded 3 new pilot projects during its third year:
- “Development and Evaluation of an e-Portfolio for Documenting Interdisciplinary Research Competency Development” PI: Dr. Suzanne Bakken
- “Public Health Law and State Reporting of Healthcare-Associated Infections” PI: Dr. Kristine Gebbie
- “A Pilot Study of an Educational Intervention to Improve Antimicrobial Prescribing Practices in the Neonatal ICU” PI: Dr. Lisa Saiman (Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University )
