2. Recent Grant Applications

The number of grants submitted by School of Nursing faculty members has nearly doubled since fiscal year 2003. In the past 6 months, from October 2004 – March 2005, School of Nursing faculty members submitted 16 grant applications to federal agencies, foundations, and professional organizations such as the NCCAM, NCI , NICHD, NIDDK, NINR, and NLM (all Institutes of the NIH); HRSA, Oncology Nursing Society, and C-Change.

In addition, School of Nursing doctoral student Diane Pastor submitted 2 applications: one to Sigma Theta Tau and an NRSA application.
