Ways to Give

Gifts of Cash
Cash and cash equivalents are the gift of choice for most donors, either as an annual gift or pledged over a period of several years.

Gifts of Securities
Appreciated stocks and bonds are, next to cash, the most popular assets donated to Columbia by alumni and friends. If you are considering a donation of $1,000 or more, consider the advantages of giving securities.

Planned Giving
Planned gifts can offer significant estate-tax and income benefits, and allow donors to make larger gifts to the University than would otherwise be possible. All donors who make planned gifts to the School of Nursing are invited to be part of the Anna C. Maxwell Society.

Matching Gifts
Many companies will make a matching gift to Columbia when one of their employees or their spouse makes a donation. To find out if you or your spouse's company has such a program, search here.

Become Involved
To achieve our goals, we need the support and commitment of alumni and friends. If you are interested in volunteering for the School, click here to learn how you can contribute or please contact us.
