Planned Gifts for the future of
Columbia University School of Nursing

The Anna C. Maxwell Legacy Society, named for the School’s founder, recognizes those who have established a planned gift to Columbia University School of Nursing. These thoughtful commitments help ensure that the School continues to educate future generations of nurse clinicians and researchers.

By carefully planning your estate, you can not only secure your family’s future but also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that you made a difference in others’ lives. For example, gifts through your will or living trust can provide an estate tax deduction that will reduce your tax burden and make additional assets available for your heirs. A life income arrangement may be the ideal way for you to increase your income, receive a charitable income tax deduction, avoid capital gains taxes, and make that special gift that seemed otherwise impossible.
