Involved in a variety of research protocols which evaluate various cardiovascular
entities using PET:
- Co-Principal Investigator: “PET Studies in Diabetic Cardiac Autonomic

Perfusion Using Positron Emission Tomography” and “Alteration
of Myocardial Metabolism with Metabolic Interventions in Healthy Human Subjects
and in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease”
- Research Coordinator: “Clinical assessment of myocardial perfusion
and viability in patients with coronary artery disease” and “Effect
of glucose-insulin-potassium on mortality and in-hospital events following
acute myocardial infarction”.
Currently involved in new, innovative therapies for acute myocardial
ischemia, heart failure, arrhythmias, lipid management, non-invasive cardiovascular
imaging agents, and investigational devices (ICD’s).
