PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION




Take the A, C, 1 or 9 subway to 168th Street, or take the M2, M3, M4, M5, or M100 bus to NI. Fares are $2.50 for both the subway and buses. Subway trains require Metrocards and can be purchased at the station booth. Buses require Metrocards or exact change; bills are not accepted.

Take 1, 9, A or C to 168th Street and Broadway (see Subway Map) Walk one block West to Fort Washington Avenue.

Buses
Take M4 to 168th Street and Fort Washington Avenue (bus stops adjacent to the Neurological Institute)

Take M5 or BX7 to 168th Street and Broadway Walk one block West to Fort Washington Avenue.

Take M2, M3, or M100 to 168th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue; walk two blocks west Walk one block West to Fort Washington Avenue.

Take M101 to 168th Street and Amsterdam Avenue; walk four blocks west Walk one block West to Fort Washington Avenue.

Take BX6 to 155th Street and Broadway, transfer to the M4 or M5, follow above directions for the M4 or M5

Long Island Rail Road
To 34th Street 7 8th Avenue. Transfer to Uptown A or C train to 168th Street & Broadway (LIRR Info. 1.718.217.5477)

Metro North and Amtrak
Get off at Grand Central Station. Take the S (Shuttle) train to TIMES SQUARE, get off and take the Uptown 1/9 train to 168th Street & Broadway. Follow directions above.

Path Train
To 33rd Street. At 33rd Street, transfer to the Uptown B or D train. Get off at 59th Street, wait on the same platform for the Uptown A or C train, OR go upstairs and take the Uptown 1/9 train to 168th Street & Broadway. Follow directions above. (PATH Info. 1.800.234.7284)

Staten Island Ferry


Take the Ferry to Manhattan. Transfer to the Uptown 1/9 train at the SOUTH FERRY station to 168th Street & Broadway. Follow directions above. (Ferry Info. 1.718.225.5368 or 1.718.815.BOAT)

From the Airport


M60 Bus - Operates between Manhattan, Queens and LaGuardia Airport. From LaGuardia Airport, follow the sign that says Ground Transportation. Once outside, look for the M60 bus stop sign at the curb. Take the bus to 116th Street & Morningside Heights/Broadway, transfer to the M4 bus to 168th Street & Fort Washington Avenue; cross the street to the Neurological Institute. A TRAIN - Operates between Manhattan, Brooklyn and John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport. Follow the signs that say Ground Transportation. Once outside, look for the Shuttle bus sign at the curb. Take the Shuttle bus to the A train station at Howard Beach/JFK Airport station, take the A train to 168th Street & Broadway, follow subway directions above for A train.

Returning to the Airport

1. From Northern New Jersey and Rockland County, NY, to the George Washington Bridge bus station. Located at Ft. Washington Avenue & Broadway between 178th and 179th Streets. 2. Greyhound, Short Line, Peter Pan, Red & Tan Lines, etc. To 42nd Street, Port Authority Bus Terminal - 8th Avenue, transfer to the Uptown A or C train to 168th Street & Broadway. Follow directions above for subway.
