Rajarata University of Sri Lanka
The main teaching and referral facility is the Faculty of Medical and Allied Sciences Saliyapura at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka in Mihintale, just outside of the sacred city of Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. Located in the Northern central region of the country, the FOHS was established in 2005. The clerkship consists of serving the rural and mountainous-area population of 60,000 people who have very limited access to healthcare. Primary healthcare concerns are parasitic diseases, snake bites, and trauma. Students learn how to diagnose, treat, and prevent common conditions and illnesses, with limited medical resources.

(This is a site to which MSIH students have applied on their own and have experienced useful clinical experiences.)
