PHYSICIAN SUMMARY
Michael Flamm, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Flamm cares for patients with hematologic malignancies including leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. He also consults and manages patients with anemia and hemoglobinopathies including sickle cell disease. He also treats patients with colon and lung cancer.

Dr. Flamm received his undergraduate B.S. degrees from Yale University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He matriculated at the College of Physicians and Surgeons where he was in the combined M.D. and Ph.D. program. He then received his Internal Medicine training at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. He completed his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is currently involved in patient care and teaching on the hematology and bone marrow transplant services. He is the primary Hematology and Oncology consultant at the Allen Pavilion and directs the Oncology clinic at the Harlem Hospital Center.
