Admission To apply for admission to the master’s program, the student should either download an application from the link above or request a formal application from the Office of Student Affairs of the Institute of Human Nutrition, 630 West 168th Street, PH 15 East, room 1512, New York, NY 10032. Admission to the program is limited. Completed application for the master's program should be returned to the Office of Student Affairs of the Institute (see above). The Graduate Record Examination report of scores is required; in some cases, other test scores may be substituted. The admission of a student to graduate study depends primarily on his or her preparation and intellectual capacity, but it also rests upon judgments of the applicant's character and health. Applications to the doctoral program, which requires a different form, are handled by the Admissions Office, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, 701 West 168th Street, New York, NY 10032. Doctoral Program applications can be submitted online. All students whose native language is not English or who have not received secondary or university education in a country where English is the language of instruction must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), which is administered three times annually throughout the world.
