If you plan to submit samples for any reason, DNA extraction, the creation of cell lines, buffy coats, plasma, sera, etc. you must plan this activity in advance.

Samples will not be accepted without prior notice.

When preparing to submit a large number of samples, i.e.. more than 20, please provide at least two weeks notice.

If you wish to have your samples prepared for genotyping or shipped to another location you must also schedule this activity in advance by emailing hgrc@columbia.edu. Please do not contact the laboratory technicians or Dr. Zerlin directly. You will need to provide us with an account number to cover the costs for preparing and shipping these samples. This will insure that you are placed in the queue.
