Columbia University Medical Center – Office of Housing Services

Over 1300 students, faculty and post docs live in Medical Center accommodations, a practical and cost-effective way to live in Manhattan. Living on campus provides individuals with the opportunity to take advantage of all of the resources Columbia University and the City of New York have to offer. All of the residential buildings are located at the Center and are within walking distance to academic buildings and labs, the library, the campus athletic center and the city’s subway and bus system.

Campus accommodations for students include a wide range of offerings from single dormitory rooms, to 2, 3 and 4 person suites to one bedroom apartments. The newly constructed 390 Ft. Washington Residence houses Postdoctoral fellows in studio and 1 bedroom apartments, while faculty are offered accommodations either at the campus’ Bard-Haven Towers or at the Morningside Campus.
