Study Participation:

Blood Borne Pathogen Risk in Home Health Care Workers Study Questionnaires

The overall goal of this study is to find out about home healthcare workers and the risk of exposure to blood/body fluids as well as other health risks. About 3000 home healthcare workers will be asked to complete the surveys, with most home healthcare workers working in the greater New York City area, although other parts of the country will also be represented.

We will be distributing two questionnaires: one specifically designed for RNs and another one designed for Home Health Aides and Personal Care Workers.

Participation is voluntary and confidential and no information regarding individual responses on the questionnaires will be shared with anyone. At the conclusion of this study, summary reports will be provided to all stakeholders.
