While all supportive apartments serve adults with mental illness, many are designed to accommodate individuals having particular needs (e.g. children, histories of substance abuse, and homelessness). Case managers visit the apartments on a regular basis to assist consumers in evaluating how they are adapting to the community and develop service plans collaboratively with them. Case managers are on-call around the clock.
