Services: The American Academy of Arts and Letters was founded in 1898 to cater to
the interest in music, literature and other arts of residents. The Academy hosts
exhibitions of art and manuscripts as well as readings and performances of new
musicals. In addition, it serves as an intermediary for the purchase and donation
of paintings to museums across the country.

Services: The Dyckman Farmhouse is Manhattan's last Dutch-colonial farmhouse. During
the 19th century, the Farmhouse was used to produce fruits and vegetables for the
New York City market. The house features a collection of Revolutionary War artifacts.

Services: The Morris-Jumel Mansion was originally built as a rural retreat by Roger
Morris in 1765; however, in 1776 it was used as headquarters for George Washington.
Each room in the mansion was restored to periods dating between 1765 and 1835 to
reveal a specific aspect of its history. The mansion is the oldest remaining Colonial
residence in Manhattan today.

Services: The Saint Frances X. Cabrini Shrine houses the most precious remains of
the beloved St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. The Shrine is a spiritual center of welcome
and compassion for all those on a gospel journey who seek to draw closer to Jesus
through St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. Through the reverend stewardship of this holy
place, the relic of St. Cabrini and the richness of the Catholic faith, the Shrine
offers pilgrims a prayerful place of worship where God’s presence can be
experienced and celebrated. In the tradition of Mother Cabrini, the shrine expresses
an openness to the spiritual needs of immigrants and youth.

Services: The American Numismatic Society is an international center that is
dedicated to the preservation and study of coins, medals and paper money,
representing 2,500 years of culture and history. Exhibitions in historical
artifacts and miniature artistic masterpieces are available. The museum’s
resources include nearly one million objects and the world’s greatest
library of numismatic literature.

Services: Located on four acres overlooking the Hudson River in northern
Manhattan’s Fort Tryon Park, the building incorporates elements from
five medieval French cloisters and from other monastic sites in southern France.
The Cloisters is a branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art that boasts a
splendid collection of medieval artifacts, paintings, and architecture.

Services: The Hispanic Society of America was founded in 1904 and is dedicated
to the art and culture of the Latin American Iberian Peninsula. In addition to
permanent collection displays that include paintings by El Greco, Velazquez,
Goya and Sorilla, the museum also offers many exhibitions and lectures on
various topics.
