  Services: As a center for hospitality and education, the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine's Public Education Department welcomes hundred of thousands of tourists to the site each year. The department is comprised of a school that provides a curriculum based on architecture, history, and ecology for New York City public school and independent school students. In addition, the Education Department offers family programs such as the Medieval Arts Workshop where families explore weaving, brass rubies, stained glass, illumination, and clay sculpting.
