    The Children's Cancer Center provides diagnostic and therapeutic management for children with cancer and/or serious blood disorders. The Center not only offers state of the art medical care, but also psychosocial service.

    The Hope and Heroes Division of Pediatric Oncology is a special place. The team, which includes Children’s Hospital of New York, the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, is bound together by the profound devotion to medicine. The reputation for excellence is well deserved, a result of the great effort put into making the inpatient care and the quality of the teaching staff unparalleled. The innovative research has also long led the way in advancement towards cures and prevention. Hope and Heroes cares for children who suffer from a broad range of pediatric cancers and blood disorders. Hope and Heroes’ mission is to provide unprecedented medical, surgical, psychosocial, and complementary care to children with cancer and their families; to ease the pain and suffering of children afflicted with cancer and help make their lives as "normal" as possible during treatments; to create a family-centered environment for children with cancer and their families; and to perform clinical and basic science research to increase an understanding of pediatric cancer, for future cures and prevention.     The Northern Manhattan Immunization Partnership (NMIP) is a collaboration of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Harlem Hospital/Renaissance Health Care Network, and St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center. NMIP works with health care providers and community-based organizations to improve and maintain high levels of immunization coverage for children ages 2 and under in northern Manhattan.

    Hours: Thursday evenings once a month

    The Parents Caring for Children with Cancer program offers a support group for parents of pediatric cancer patients. The support group is attended by a pediatric oncologist and a psychologist and allows parents to share questions and experiences concerning their children.
