The Comprehensive Dental Services for Children and Adolescents with HIV/AIDS offers compassionate care that helps keep children and adolescents healthy. The staff believes that with early detection some infections and oral complications can be treated to reduce pain and discomfort. The following services are available to HIV/AIDS infected children, adolescents, and their siblings: dental care, including a thorough examination, x-rays and cleaning, instruction for practicing good oral hygiene, and follow-up check-ups to determine dental cavities, oral infections and other problems related to HIV/AIDS.
