The Northern Manhattan Community Voices Collaborative is a partnership of community-based organizations, health care providers, institutions and faith-based organizations that have come together to address the health care needs of the Washington Heights/Inwood and Central Harlem communities. Established in 1998, through a national grant from the Kellogg Foundation, the project serves as a vehicle to identify barriers to health care services, plan and implement innovative health care initiatives, and work to improve the delivery of quality healthcare in northern Manhattan. The Community Voices Collaborative brings together key community stakeholders in the decisionmaking and implementation process of quality, culturally relevant and equitable health care delivery system. The Community Voices Collaborative is under the leadership of Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery in partnership with the Mailman School of Public Health, Alianza Dominicana Inc. and Harlem Hospital Center.
