The 2012 summer program, which will run from July 2 to August 7, will follow a format of intensive instruction in biostatistics and epidemiology during the first three weeks, followed by two weeks of additional, more specialized coursework. By building on core material from the courses, students will complete an outline for a research proposal following NIH guidelines for either an R01 or K award by the end of the five weeks. Below is the tentative daily schedule. It is important to note that while classes run from 9am to 6pm, there are projects and assignments to be completed outside of class hours.
