One-Hour Billing Compliance Education per Academic Year The Billing Compliance Steering Committee approved a minimum of one-hour compliance education for all faculty and billing personnel each academic year, as of July 1, 2001. One of the following means will fulfill the requirement: 1. Completion of the web-based educational program. 2. Participation in a departmental lecture / presentation approved by the Office for Billing Compliance; or 3. Participation in a sponsored lecture program approved by the Office for Billing Compliance. Completion of the web-based program is electronically recorded, however, there must be proof of attendance, such as a sign-in sheet, for options # 2 or #3.   Return to Contents | Return to Billing Compliance
