The Center for Molecular Therapeutics is committed to the rapid advance of exciting ideas from concept through feasibility, until each study's potential can be realized and expeditiously applied. All of the Center's common effort is uniquely directed to this principle. As an institution without walls and without a permanent fiscal obligation to any one project or group of projects, the Center has the flexibility to seek, support and nurture the most provocative ideas to the point at which they can be developed independently. The Center can then give its attention to the next set of compelling projects, continually renewing the energy and vision necessary for nourishing promising hypotheses in the fulfillment of its obligation to the prevention and therapy of disease.
