Joan E. Morgenthau, MD, is Professor of Clinical Pediatrics Emeritus at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Professorial Lecturer in Pediatrics and Community Medicine. She also serves as a Field Representative for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Dr. Morgenthau's special interests are in adolescent medicine and variations in health care utilization. She was a visiting Fellow at Yale University from 1989-1991. For the past 10 years she has been involved in the teaching program at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
