A fellowship in Advanced Clinical Anesthesia is offered to fellows who wish to refine their skills 1) in the anesthetic management of many different types of complex cases, e.g., in general surgery (including organ transplantation), neurosurgery, otolaryngology especially with difficult airways, oral maxillofacial surgery, bariatric, obstetrics and medically challenging cases, 2) in the management of the anesthesia service for the operating room, and 3) the management of the complex patient in the post-anesthesia care unit.
