Elizabeth Grossfeld

ELIZABETH GROSSFELD, LMSW
Social Worker




Elizabeth joined the ALS center in January 2012 as a part-time Social Worker. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Ithaca College and an MSW from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. Prior to coming to the ALS Center, Elizabeth worked as a Direct Service Professional at the Y.A.I./N.I.P.D. network providing counseling and care to adults with intellectual disabilities in New York. Additionally, she completed an internship at the Center against Domestic Violence as a counselor in the Relationship Abuse Prevention Program. During this time Elizabeth provided therapeutic counseling services for middle school aged children and their families who fit the criteria of being at risk or currently in crisis. Elizabeth currently co-facilitates a support group for ALS patients and their families in Manhattan, New York.
