Core facilities within the CCTI include flow cytometry, a clinical studies core, and a transplantation tissue bank. Additionally, a multi-photon confocal in vivo microscopy system has been established and will soon be available as a core resource.
By prospectively collecting and storing samples from recipients of all types of transplants, this core makes these materials available to investigators for clinical research studies.
Flow Cytometry Core
This core provides training and access to state-of-the-art flow cytometry for biomedical investigators at the Columbia University Medical Center.
Human Studies Core
Services provided by this core facilitate the planning and execution of immunological research and help to foster communication and collaboration among researchers and clinicians.
Humanized Mouse Core
With over 10 years of experience developing hu-mouse models, we have pioneered novel humanized mouse models with robust, functional human immune systems.
With a state-of-the-art micorscope system, this core enables visualization of fluorescence-tagged cells in live animals.
